Presenter: Hank Chilton, RPh, PharmD, Vice President of Business Development,
Cardinal Health
The spring 2010 series will focus on the future of PET. Learn about the newest PET
tracers in development, and how they are poised to revolutionize diagnostic molecular
imaging. Hank Chilton, vice president of business development with Cardinal Health,
has been the primary driver behind our venture into providing support for proprietary
PET tracer development. He has helped Cardinal Health build relationships with major
pharmaceutical companies, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the American
College of Radiology Imaging Network (ACRIN) that have resulted in collaborations
across a number of IND clinical trials using non-proprietary PET imaging agents like
FLT, FMISO and Sodium Fluoride to advance the application of PET imaging. He will
share insights into how these types of strategic partnerships across the industry
could bring new treatments to market for disease states such as neurology,
oncology and cardiology.
